GATES

100 years of experience

In 1917, John Gates sparked a true industrial revolution by inventing rubber V-belts for industry. Gates continued the production of this invention and in 1945 manufactured the first toothed distribution belt, now better known as the synchronous belt. In 1979, they created the serpentine belt – a single belt that simultaneously drives multiple components.

In the 1980s, Gates initiated a development strategy, allowing them to expand their product range and strengthen their position in the market. The Gates Corporation is now one of the strongest in the market, offering fluid pressure energy generation, control, and transmission systems.

Gates Belts for Agriculture

It is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of belts for agricultural machinery, ideally suited for John Deere, Class, New Holland, and Case combines. Gates belts are characterized by high efficiency and resistance when agricultural machinery has to work in especially challenging conditions: constant exposure to sunlight in the fields, exposure to dust, mud, and stones. Gates belts ensure that your combine or tractor remains free from malfunctions throughout the entire season.

Gates Belts for Industrial Equipment

Gates belts are manufactured using advanced technologies and case studies: they ensure maximum power, exhibit increased chemical resistance, and withstand a wide range of temperatures. They are highly valued for their longevity and minimal maintenance.
Gates belts are suitable for almost everywhere – from heavy industry to automated manufacturing, extending equipment life, efficiency, and performance.
